Holland Conservation Commission
Minutes of Commission meeting held on June 20, 2006.
Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron, Ann Hall and Rolf Hilbig. Absent: Steven Anderstrom, Howard Fife and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. Minutes of Commission Meeting held on June 13, 2006 were read, accepted and will be distributed.
Old Business:
Fred Trifone is to be called regarding his project at 1 Union Rd. questioning him regarding the drainage to control storm water.
7:30 p.m. Procedure Sheet #2006-1088 issued to Brad Noble of 53 Sandy Beach Rd., Map R-38-E-01 to remove a dying tree approx. 8 feet from the waters edge. Motion to approve the project was made and approved by all. Procedure Sheet signed by Mary vandenBerg with the condition that the stump must be left.
7:35 p.m. Members signed the Order of Conditions for Joseph Frigo’s project at 12 Julie Ann Dr., DEP File #184-0203. Kristin LaPlante notarized our signatures.
7:45 p.m. Tom Baltazar and Steven Bressette of Jalbert Engineering presented Tom Baltazar’s project at 16 Stony Hill Rd., Map R-35-C-19 with the Procedure Sheet #2005-966 (updated 5-16-2006) to upgrade a septic system and well. Following much discussion, motion to approve the project was made and approved by all. Procedure Sheet signed by Mary vandenBerg with the condition that the septic system construction is to be done with the erosion controls in place as indicated by the Green Lines on the Plot Plan that we stamped and dated.
Tom Baltazar and Steven Bressette then presented their project at 12 Sandy Beach Rd. to install/repair septic system, and to convert a garage to a house. Motion to have Howard Fife, Agent do a site visit on July 11, 2006 with the interested parties and then their project would be presented on July 25, 2006 at 7:30 p.m.
8:35 p.m. Heather Blakeley showed us pictures of an additional tree that they would like to have cut on Michael Martino’s property at 27 Vinton Rd., bringing the total to 3. Motion made to accept the project approved by all.
8:45 p.m. David Buccelli presented a Procedure Sheet issued to Nancy Havill and Ted Jeff of 77 Sandy Beach Rd., Map R-38-E-12 to remove three (3) Oak trees. Motion made to accept the project approved by all. Procedure Sheet signed by Mary vandenBerg with the condition that the stumps must be left.
9:00 p.m. Rena O’Keefe brought in Judith Petit’s Order of Conditions – lacking the Hampden Registry of Deeds receipt of their recorded Order of Conditions – we were unable to sign the Procedure Sheet. They will remit the receipt as soon as possible.
Motion to adjourn made by Ann Hall, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
